This decade saw The Artworks moved to Kennedy Street Kingston, and enlarge the Macworks business component by purchasing an Imagesetter to output film for printing.
In 1996, we changed the name to Spincreative after a merger with John’s Graphics—a short-lived partnership—and remained trading as that company for many years.

MacBureau logo
MacBureau was another company I created in the late 1980s to sell Apple related products, train people in software and network Apple computers using ‘Appletalk’ connections. It continued in the 1990s until Apple changed their associations with external suppliers
Chatfish logo creation
Designing a new logo was part of my full rebranding of Catfish Restaurant as it moved from Ainslie shops to a prominent address in Civic Canberra ACT Australia. The image component of the logo was an artwork the owner David Chatto created at a night art class. As soon as I saw it I was ‘hooked’. Excuse the pun. The typography was partly hand-drawn by me.
